Church Planting & Pastoral Training
Church Planting & Pastoral Training
Paul expresses in Romans 15:20, “It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ is not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.”
At Beyond the Gate Missions, our aim is to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ beyond our city gates into the nations of the world. We achieve this through evangelistic crusades, pastoral training, and church planting. Our dedicated team of church planters diligently seek out communities in remote areas that lack access to evangelical churches within walking distance. Once these locations are identified, we engage with the local populace to discover potential leaders who can lead the forthcoming church. After identifying a prospective pastor, we enroll this person into our pastoral training program. The program consists of an intensive four-week classroom training covering essential topics such as church history, surveys of the Old and New Testaments, evangelism, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and developing a close relationship with God. Upon successful completion of the coursework and passing of the final exam, students participate in a formal cap and gown ceremony. After graduation, students are mobilized into the field to serve in leadership roles.
